What we collect

Career Atlas USA has no user accounts and no login. The only information handled about your visit beyond analytics (below) is the standard technical data any web server generates to operate — IP address, browser user agent, and the pages requested — kept in short-lived server and CDN logs for security and reliability, not for building a profile of you.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful and how people find the site — page views, approximate location (city/country level), device type, and referring site. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. We don’t use this data to identify you individually, and we don’t combine it with anything else. Google’s own use of this data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out using Google’s browser opt-out add-on or your browser’s tracking-protection / cookie settings.

Infrastructure providers

The site is served through Cloudflare (as a reverse proxy/CDN) and hosted on our own server. Cloudflare processes standard connection metadata as part of delivering the site to you; it does not receive anything beyond what any CDN sees for any website it fronts.

Search

Search queries are sent to our own server to look up matching careers, schools and programs, and are not stored or associated with you afterward.

Third-party links

Pages link out to official government sources and school websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don’t control.
